Buns of Butter performed three shows at the Cleveland Public Theatre in December, 1999. The gigs were part of the annual Vaudeville show at the theatre.
At each show, Kristen Baumliér performed with a different dancer. On Friday night, Charles "Dunkin" Carey performed two Buns of Butter sets. For the Saturday afternoon kids show, Dick "Pat of Butter" Parsons was a Buns of Butter dancer. The kids really liked his form in the Donut Spin Routine, and his solo during the finale. The final show was on Saturday night. Nathaniel "Lucky" Parsons performed with Kristen Baumlier and jumped over the stage monitor for his solo.
The music for the performance was all new. A theme song that premiered was the "Butter Belt Song." The "Butter Butt Shake" routine was the hit of each show.
One challenge for the weekend was keeping the 4 containers of ice creams frozen for 48 hours. Though the ice was changed several times, the ice cream was only partially frozen for the last show.
